LVDS differential impedance
For LVDS, a very important characteristic is the differential impedance Zdiff of LVDS. The characteristic impedance Zo refers to the constant transient impedance, which is the basis of the differential impedance. Consider the signal integrity in the actual design, usually LVDS will be deployed as a microstrip line or strip line, we give the differential impedance of these two types of lines shown in Figure 1. It can be seen from the figure that the differential impedance of LVDS can actually be customized and is not fixed. The differential impedance of LVDS is the basis of PCB wiring and matching resistance selection. When designing the PCB and matching, we must pay attention to the consistency of the receiving and sending ends.
